Lesson 12: Part 1- Straight Shadow and Reflection Project

There are lots of different ways to find and create shadows and reflections. Remember when you were little and you would spot shadows and reflections all around you. This project makes you search and seek out interesting and intriguing shadows and reflections. They can be preplanned or they can just appear. It is best to take shadows on a sunny day so do not wait until the last day take these pictures. Reflections can be seen in reflective and shiny surfaces like glass, mirrors and water.

You will need an Artist Statement for one set of shadow pictures and one set of reflection pictures. Tell me a story. Make sure to include a description of you shadows and reflection. Be reflective and transparent. Each statement needs to be at least 5 complete sentences.
